Driving Test

The driving test is straightforward. It is designed to assess whether you can demonstrate the following to your Examiner:

* Safe driving skills.

* Highway Code knowledge.

Test Routes

Test routes are designed to:

* Be as uniform as possible.

* Include a range of typical road and traffic conditions.

Examiner

The Examiner will:

* Give directions in good time.

* Require to you to carry out a series of set exercise, i.e. emergency stop.

 * The driving test lasts approximately 38-40 minutes (Extended tests will last about 70 minutes).
